Perhaps a follow-up article is in order. Ask participating individuals HOW their democracy is being taken from them. Is their ability to vote being taken away? Do they understand that federal government spending MUST be reduced...because the current expenditure level is unsustainable? Do they recognize that cutting back on spending WILL involve some decisions that they might not like? There is no sense in demonizing the people who are working to reduce government spending by eliminating fraud, waste and abuse. See if you can make some sense of these protests.
