DEBT TENDER

Debt managers plan to sell 500 million lei ($123.99 million) worth of February 2029 treasury bonds at tender.

CURRENT ACCOUNT DATA

The central bank is expected to release January-August current account balance data.

Romania's president on Friday reluctantly signed off a judicial reform, including a reduction in his own powers, that he called a "setback for Romanian democracy".

STEEL

ArcelorMittal, the world's largest steel producer, has agreed the sale of plants in the Czech Republic, Romania, Macedonia and Italy to Liberty House to satisfy regulatory requirements for its acquisition of Italian steelmaker Ilva.
